I love TED videos, I’d love to go to a TED conference someday. This is the closest thing (for most of us) for now.. TEDxSMU is hosting 3 different viewing parties all on the same day for FREE. From the event site:

Sign up for the FREE viewing parties for TEDxSMU! Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff, Tech Wildcatters in Uptown, and the AT&T Foundry in Plano are hosting viewing parties for the simulcast of TEDxSMU on December 3 from 9AM-6PM (doors at 9; show at 10). All you have to do is register and show up. Food and drinks will be available for sale at both locations…other than that, did we mention it’s free?

You spend all day designing websites but don’t know how to get started with the stuff that your developers use? Come get an introduction to ASP.NET MVC and Sql Server. Or are you a developer who hasn’t used any of these? If you are, here is your chance to get a one-day exposure to the full stack.
