True, this isn’t that big of a deal for too many people, but for the last 6 weeks or so, I have been a “mobile” employee at Microsoft. Which basically means that when I am in the office, I can grab one of 3 or 4 “Progressive” offices to use while I am there. The nice part is that they have doors.
The down side is that when I am done for that trip, I have to pick up all of my stuff and take it with me. This week I received my very own personal place in the office. I have a cube. It is my cube, and no one else’s. I have the keys to the drawers and I can write stuff on the white board with out fear that it Will be erased. I can leave my books on the shelf, and not have to bring them back and forth with me. I am happy. I am also aware that, apparently, it doesn’t take much to make me happy.
