Don Box is talking about using the new Office Communicator from Microsoft. It sounds so cool. Our company is getting ready to do some installs of Microsoft Live Communication Server (LCS). It’s the back end to Microsoft Communicator, how cool is that?

One of those Canadians that I met at Tech Ed, was making a great point about the “gay marriage” issue. This isn’t a “gay marriage” issue, it’s a MARRIAGE issue. We all need to work on getting the marriage thing right, and includes, including God in our Marriages (and lives).

I haven't blogged in a while, and so I thought that I should catch every one up on what I've been up to.
Last month (June) was busy. I went to Tech Ed 2005 (http://www.microsoft.com/events/teched2005/default.mspx). It was an incredible experience. 7 days in Florida with a whole lot of other Microsoft type people, oh yeah, and some Canadians too. They were cool, and don't say aboot as much as you would think. Also, I met some people from the DotNetNuke team (including Shaun Walker - he gave me a DNN shirt - cool).
The week that I got back from Tech Ed I was privileged to speak at my first Microsoft Conference (Visual Studio Dev Con 2005 - http://www.elysiumsystems.com/VS2005DevCon/) in Dallas. It was a lot of fun, I got to talk about “Visually Designing your Application”. Basically I covered the new designers in VS 2005. I even had a job offer after wards from one of the international trainers that participated in the event... nice.
Last month, we had Rob Howard speak at the Tulsa .Net Users Group, next month we're having Ron Jacobs from the Microsoft Patterns and Practice group. How cool is that?
